Compliance evidence and controls
Note: A planned check is not evidence, and this screen keeps them apart
Every row is one observation of one control over one period. Planned means the check has not happened: it carries no artifact — the server refuses to let it — and it is marked as not an observation, so a period covered only by plans reads as uncovered rather than as satisfied.
Records are appended, never edited: there is no edit or delete operation in the contract for one, and each row names who recorded it. A correction is a new record for the same period. There is no evidence store in this build either, so an artifact reference cannot be opened from here and a result recorded without one is shown as a claim rather than a citation.
Record an observation
The control's identifier, as your framework names it.
Evidence is against a version of a control, not a control: the test changes.
An observation of what was actually true in the period.
A reference to where the evidence is held. Nothing is uploaded or stored here, and a result recorded without one is shown as a claim rather than a citation.
